Here are a few clips from a trip I did to Mexico this year with Dusty and Alex Grey. We got some pretty mental waves but unfortunately no ones boards arrived and what boards we did have we broke really quickly. Shane Dorian, Dane and everybody happened to be here as well and after the trip naturally the mags released a story about it. The article didn’t go down so well with the locals (a little cheeky) and for the next two years photography of this place has been banned. This is the last footage I have from here and this place is very dear to me. Its a escape from the horrible waves of southern California and after a few days here i feel like a surfer again, sun burnt and surfed out. I hope the locals can forgive us and let us surf their waves again. Thanks to Matt Shuster for the clips.

By now this is old news but people keep hitting me up about it so here you go. Paul Fisher and Lindsay Lohan have been getting it on. After rocking up in Hawaii and hanging with Blair Marlin, she quickly moved onto the Fish. Word has it Blair couldn’t handle the mad women anymore and palmed her onto Paul where he wasted no time in doing the dirty. Rumor has it he flew back to L.A with her and has been her slave ever since.

From a trip Jay Davies and I did to South Africa this year. This was the only day of real waves, the rest of the time we just partied.

After being shunned by the surf industry a few years ago, what better way to get back at them by starting a website that makes fun of everything and everyone in surfing? With a lot of haters on twitter hiding behind fake names, this is the first website that won’t let you know who they are. The website is actually pretty epic and uses some of DoomaRumors pics. Check out lol-surf.

After meeting a few days ago in Hawaii the ASP decided they will be doing away with the current ratings system. There will be another meeting this week to finalize their decision and determine on whether or not they will use a new system, or if they will return to the old one. Is this a good decision on the Asp’s side? What do you think? Without the new tour we wouldn’t have been able to witness Gabriel Medina and others go mad in the back half of the year.
We at DoomasRumors think they shouldn’t change it.
They will also be announcing who will be stepping in for Brodie Carr.

If you been crying for a non stop supply of Kai Neville action cry no more. Kai has teamed up with the ex editor of Surfing Magazine Travis Ferre to put together a new magazine. Tired of being restricted by the companies that advertise in the magazines, this one is going to bring a well needed fresh outlook to the surf world. With all the best surfers in the world teamed up with Kai its a no brainer and they destined to rule. I think its going to be stretch for the other mags to get the top guys on their trips from now on. DoomaRumors has not heard a name for the mag yet but I’m sure it will be something hipster. When we posted it this morning it was taken down for a few hours. Apparently ASP had a freak out at Quiksilver for trying to make light of their mess up with Slater. Lucky Quiky told Asp to wake up and put the vid back up. See our mate Bob has a sense of humor and isn’t such a villain. Check him out here with Todd Kline making some valid points for those who might have qualified already but could have missed out because of calculation errors.

If you been feeling a bit stupid because you haven’t been able to work out the new ASP system don’t worry the ASP can’t work it out either. After some math on Slaters part he worked it out that he in fact has not won his 11th world title yet, but because of all the premature celebrations they have come up with a plan for when he wins the title for certain.
They are going to call it his 12th world title and RipCurl are going to pay him his bonus check for the 11th because they got so much media out of it. We heard that RipCurl said to Kelly Before the event if he win it in San Fran they will give him a bonus and when Quiksilver found out about this they asked for their bonus check back.
